Description

Smaller shrublike shade tree 15' x15'. Trees are leafless for most of the year, except following rains. Plants are very drought-tolerant, although supplemental watering during the dry season will speed up growth rate. Flowering starts mid to late spring with sulfer yellow flowers. This tree is good for naturalistic landscapes. Form has character. Native to the Sonoran Desert.
