Evergreen shrub grows at a moderate-fast rate to 1' x 2'. Leaves are silver-green and resemble small triangles. Flowers are non-showy and appear midwinter to midspring. Full sun. Allergenic to some being related to ragweed. Highly drought tolerant. Good for naturalistic landscapes. It is short-lived but will reseed. Native to the Sonoran Desert.
