Diospyros kaki
Fuji Fruit, Sharon Fruit, Kaki Frui
Description
The persimmon tree is a lovely deciduous tree that can grow up to 26' tall and wide. It can be single or multi-trunked. This fruit tree has brittle branches so do not plant in windy areas. The tree prefers full sun, well draining, fertile, moist soil. Leaves are simple, dark green, glossy and broad. Flowers are insignificant. Foliage turns yellow, red or orange in fall. Orange fruit ripens in fall and may be the astringent type (soft flesh and flatter in shape) or the non-astringent (round shape).

Different areas of your landscape have different water requirements.
Shrubs need much less water than lawns and drip systems should never be scheduled on the same program with lawns.
Establish separate watering schedules for those areas.
