Description

This clumping plant tolerates heat as well as cold. Spiny-edged, stiff leaves are less than 12" long. Flower clusters arise along the stem on short stalks from late winter to early summer. The rosette bearing the flower dies after blooming. This Agave needs little water but good drainage. Do not overwater in winter. Some people get dermatitis from handling this plant. This Agave makes a wonderful container plant indoors or outside.
