A small species getting only about 6" tall. Leaves are less than 1/2" wide and up to 4" long and are dark green and linear. The flower spike is up to 6' in height in mid summer and will die usually after a couple of years after flowering. Native to South Arizona and Sonora.Full sun or part shade in the hottest desert areas. Flowers are yellow. Great for pots and small areas.-Mountain States Nursery
