Agave grows to 4' x 6' . Thick, wide gray-green leaves are rough on the back, edged with curved teeth and stout terminal spine. Produces offsets readily. Smaller than A. americana. Will take full sun or reflected heat. Abundant in the Chihuahuan desert in NE Mexico into south Texas from 3600-5700'.
