This deciduous shrub ranges from 6'-20' tall and 10'-15' wide. It is desirable for its magenta spring flowers, yellow to red fall color, and dangling winter seed pods. It is tolerant of many soil types, drought and oak root fungus. It attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.

This evergreen shrub is 6' x 5'. Glossy dark green leaves are aromatic. It blooms with white sweet-scented flowers followed by bluish/black berries. It can be grown in sun or partial shade. Well drained soil is essential. Myrtus communis 'Boetica' grows upright, with larger, darker leaves and thick, twisted branches than Myrtus communis.

Botanical name:Leucophyllum candidum 'Silver Cloud'
Evergreen shrub grows to 4' x 4'. Tiny silver leaves, deep violet flowers. Almost identical to Thundercloud? but is larger and not as profuse a flowerer. This group is especially susceptible to overwatering so well drained sites are needed. It is drought tolerant once established. Original mother plant was located at the entrance to Big Bend Park. - Mountain States Nursery
