Common name:Turpentine Bush
Botanical name:Ericameria laricifolia

Low mounding evergreen shrub grows to 2' x 3'. Tiny dark green, needle like leaves have aroma of turpentine. Yellow clusters of flowers appear late summer to fall. Seeds attract birds. Native to southwest U.S. and Mexcio.

Botanical name:Chilopsis linearis 'AZT Desert Amethyst'

Chilopsis linearis 'AZT Desert Amethyst ' grows quickly to 30' x 15'. Has wider more upright green leaves than 'AZT Bi-Color. Fragrant dark lavender flowers appear spring to fall and are unique among the Desert Willows. This tree will need some pruning to achieve and attractive single or multitrunked form. They provide excellent filtered shade for understory plantings. Consider planting where you need winter sun, as they are deciduous. -Arid Zone Trees

Common name:Chocolate Flower
Botanical name:Berlandiera lyrata

This perennial grows quickly to 1' x 2'. Will bloom from spring to fall with yellow daisylike flowers. Flowers have distinctive chocolate scent. Full sun to part shade. Dead head to prolong flowering. Native to the southwest U.S. and Mexico.
