Common name:Monterrey Oak
Botanical name:Quercus polymorpha

Upright oak in youth that will spread with age. Monterrey Oak can reach an eventual size of about 80' tall by 60' wide. Semi-evergreen in all but the coldest climates. irregularly lobed leaves emerge as reddish-maroon and then develop a deep blue-green color. Native to west Texas.
