Description

Perennial grows to a mature size of about 2' x 2'. In cooler parts of Arizona it blooms in early summer with 2' spikes of violet blue flowers. Very hardy and one of the easiest Penstemons to grow. Best suited to higher elevations rarely blooms in low desert. Native to upland grasslands of Coloado and Wyoming, all the way down into Arizona.
