Description

This selection is slower-growing than other selections reaching 20' at maturity. It acts almost as a dwarf variety. Blooms are dark purple color. Species occur along washes throughout SW USA as a small deciduous tree. Narrow light green leaves give aweeping appearance. Seed pods remain during winter. Needs full sun and a well drained site. - Mountain States Nursery
